Ramsey Return Too Late For Arsenal, But Midfielder Will Enhance Champions League Hopes

Although it is still mathematically possible for Arsenal to win the Premier League in what would be highly unlikely circumstances, it looks as though their campaign for a first league title since 2004 is over for another year.

Brendan Rodgers and his team are sensing the belief surrounding the city of Liverpool that this could be the year that they claim a first ever Premier League crown. The former Swansea City manager is adamant that their imperious home form and the atmosphere generated at Anfield by the red half of Merseyside is inspiring his side to unexpected heights.

Former Liverpool Boss Highlights Arsenal's Walcott Absense - Why I Agree

Arsenal's season has been in turmoil ever since the month of January ticked into February. They have been on a bad run of form and only the FA Cup has kept Arsenal fans from hanging to club by the noose.

    Liverpool v Spurs LIVE!

Hello and welcome to the #RioChallenge Live Blog brought to you by Strongbow, where Liverpool will be looking to keep in the title fight with a win over Tim Sherwood’s Spurs.

Liverpool have won seven games in a row and are yet to register a loss in 2014. Rodgers will again be relying on the striking prowess of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, who between them have 48 goals this season.

Sherwood’s side avoided three straight losses with a win over Southampton in mid-week and he will be waiting on the fitness of Emmanuel Adebayor, with Roberto Soldado looking to start as a lone striker up top.

Aside from the action, you can get yourself in with a chance of winning a trip to Rio de Janeiro to play one of Brazil’s best female five-a-side teams, all you have to do is sign you and your mates up here: bit.ly/riochallenge

Tottenham Should Choose Experienced Arsenal Defender Over £30m Teen

In the summer, Tottenham Hotspur brought in too many players who had not experienced the pace and intensity of the English Premier League, in my opinion. The side is still lacking its own identity; although they did display a rare show of character they have lacked in recent weeks as they came back from two goals down to win 3-2 at home to Southampton this weekend. It is imperative that they now strengthen their squad with players who have proven Premier League experience, just like Sunday’s match-winner Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Fit For Chelsea Clash: Why Oxlade-Chamberlain Can Be The Difference For Arsenal

Pace is the one attribute that teams hate to defend against. At Villa Park, the pace of Aston Villa’s front trio wreaked havoc on what appeared to be an unbreakable Chelsea backline. Jose Mourinho may still be smarting over some key decisions that went against his side, but you have to admire the enthusiasm and bravery shown by Paul Lambert’s young lions.

Arsenal Need To Offload Crocked Midfielder - Here's Why

For some players, the injuries they receive on a monthly basis can mentally destroy them. As a result, many have been forced to quit the game because they can't cope with it all. Dean Ashton is a famous case as he was forced to retire early due to injuries. Arsenal have a number of players that are struggling with injuries, with two who stand out.
