After enjoying a successful loan spell at the Britannia Stadium last season, Oussama Assaidi could be set for a permanent move to Stoke.  According to the Telegraph, Mark Hughes wants to sign the Liverpool winger in a deal that sees the Potters pay an initial fee of £4.5 million.

Arsenal Be Worried: Why Gunners Should Be Scared Of Losing 4th Spot To Everton

At one stage in the season, Arsenal were unstoppable and ended up leading the division. They even entered 2014 top, and that continued until the end of the month. However, fortunes have changed for the Gunners and they now face a challenge to hang onto fourth.

Nasri Hails 'Magician' Wenger, Which Should Remind Arsenal Fans To Keep The Faith

It’s that time of year when even the most neutral football fan begin their blasting of Arsenal and Arsene Wenger, falling into a negative warp of believing Arsenal will fall away at the last hurdle, unable to overcome teams when it matters most.  Former Gunner Samir Nasri, however, who left under a cloud at the Emirates in 2011 to join Manchester City, spoke of his faith and praise of Arsene Wenger in a recent report and labelled his former mentor and fellow Frenchman “a magician”.

Arsenal CAN Win The Premier League: Why Wilshere Is Right About Gunners' Title Hopes

Having gone more than eight years without a trophy it would be a disaster for Arsenal to end the current campaign without a piece of silverware. Despite only winning two of their last six league games, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is adamant that his side are well within the title race. After Saturday’s defeat against Stoke City, Arsene Wenger was quick to downplay his side’s title chances, but I think that Wilshere is correct in maintaining that Arsenal are still well in the hunt for the Premier League trophy.

Scapegoat: Why Mesut Ozil Stick Is An Unnecessary Mask For Arsenal's Poor Form

On Saturday we witnessed another poor away performance in a must win game from Arsene Wenger's men, who were found wanting in an away trip to Stoke City. Despite the result raising some eyebrows, the talk is still of Germany International Mesut Ozil, with former Arsenal midfielder Paul Davis, as he has claimed the former Real Madrid man is suffering with the pace and demands of the Premier League. If this is true, it is understandable that without a winter break (which he is used to), Ozil also did not have an adequate pre-season in Spain, which would also go some way to explaining his recent form.

Ozil Must Not Start Against Stoke - Here's Why

Mesut Ozil was completely left out of the Arsenal squad when the Gunners hosted Sunderland last weekend. There was conflicting reports surrounding the reason as to why Ozil was left out of the squad with some suggesting that he picked up an injury while others were saying he was being rested. Whatever the reason, he was left out of the squad and the team, as a whole, played better and won 4-1. I'm not for one minute suggesting that Arsenal are stronger without Ozil, but Arsenal did play with more energy and were more productive in attack.

Three things to look out for during this weekend's Premier League action

The pressure was on Arsenal on Monday night after they had been shifted down to third place following wins from Manchester City and Chelsea at the weekend. Arsene Wenger's men were able to triumph against Aston Villa, however, and returned to the top of the Premier League.

Opportunity For Outgoing Manchester City Striker To Impress

Manchester City striker John Guidetti joined Stoke on loan for the rest of the season earlier today, presenting the young striker an opportunity to have a good run of games in England.

I’ve been particularly looking forward to seeing what the young Swede can offer in the English game following his successful loan spell at Feyenoord, in the Eredivisie, where the young striker scored an amazing 20 goals in 23 appearances.

Why My Money Is Going On Stoke To Beat Manchester United This Evening

The Britannia Stadium is a notoriously hard place to go, as the Stoke City fans are an intimidating bunch when they want to be. Manchester United travel there this evening as they look to progress into the semi-finals of the League Cup, but it won't be as straight forward as some may think. Here is why I think United will struggle tonight.

THREE things to look out for during this weekend's Premier League action

Each Premier League club has competed in 15 games this season. We are nearing the half way point and the top half of the table is still wide open with no one team quite taking the reins and asserting full dominance.

A Closer Look At How Chelsea Faltered At Stoke

After a roller coaster ride of a few games, Chelsea were handed yet another embarrassing defeat this past weekend, this time at the hands of Stoke City. The loss, coupled with a great Liverpool win over West Ham have knocked the Blues out of second place and back into third in the Premier League table. Chelsea started off well, with a great goal from Andre Schurrle in the 9th minute - in fact, Schurrle had a pretty good performance, scoring both goals for Chelsea, the second in the 53rd minute.

Will Hammers put the final nail in the coffin for Hughton?

Following last weekend's embarrassing 7-0 defeat to Manchester City, questions were inevitably asked on whether or not Chris Hughton was the right man to manage Norwich City in what is shaping up to be a difficult season for the Canaries.
