Chelsea's On-Loan Star Ready To Make His Mind Up, But Should He Stay At Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has announced that he will make a decision next week as to whether he will return to the Premier League club in the summer.

The 21-year-old Belgian international has been on loan to Atletico Madrid for the past three seasons and during his time in Spain and has established himself to be one of the best keepers in the world at present.

Personally, I can’t see Courtois wanting to re-join Chelsea at this moment in time.

I'm sure Courtois is fully aware that Petr Cech is in fine form for Chelsea (who currently have the best defensive record in the league) this season, and knows he would become second fiddle once again to the Blues shot-stopper next season, should he return.

Given the young age Courtois still is, he must know that the decision he makes next week could make or break his career.  Both sides are currently in with a chance of landing the European cup and their domestic league competitions respectively.

Despite apparent interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, Courtois still looks to be enjoying life with Atletico Madrid and with their impressive form in La Liga and the Champions League this season, they look to be a team going places.

What will he decide? Have your say.
