Real Madrid star striker Karim Benzema is still to renew his contract with the Bernabeau giants, leaving Arsenal to once again closely monitor the progress of the 26-year-old France international. Arsenal have expressed their interest in Benzema before and made moves to buy the player last summer and again in the January transfer window, but the two clubs never got as far as negotiating a deal.

Why Manchester United Should Offload Van Persie This Summer

The negativity just keeps on following Manchester United, even when it appears that they are finally starting to turn a corner. The Red Devils at long last produced a performance that we have been accustomed to seeing from United over the years in their 0-3 victory at West Brom.

Chelsea Line Up Move For United Star - Why He'd Be A Perfect Fit For The Blues

Reports in Italy claim Chelsea are one of three clubs lining up a shock move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie. The Dutchman looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer as David Moyes seeks to rebuild his squad after a dreadful first season at the club. AS Monaco and Juventus are also supposedly in the race to secure the 30-year old's signature, but Stamford Bridge would be the perfect destination for the former Arsenal forward, in my eyes.

Manchester United: Swallow Pride And Build Team Around Former Midfielders

As a Football Manager veteran, I have learned that a good way to find success is to build a side around a strong central midfield partnership. We have seen it in the Premier League with Manchester United, with Paul Scholes and Roy Keane, at Arsenal with Emmanuel Petit and Patrick Vieira, and more recently with Xavi and Andres Iniesta at Barcelona. Right now, at Old Trafford, I point to that in regards to Manchester United's poor form this season.

Manchester United need something special to happen this month if they are to retain their Premier League crown. Italian Clubs Fighting For Their Lives in the Champions League

With the loss from Juventus yesterday, sending the Italian club out of the Champions League, it seems as if the remaining Italian clubs are fighting for their survival as well today in the last match day. AC Milan are playing Ajax, both clubs are only separated by one point in group h. While Napoli are playing Arsenal, Napoli are currently tied with Boruissa Dortmund in the middle of the table on 9 points.
