Arsenal Do Not Need £25m Winger With 19 Goals This Season - Here's Why

Real Sociadad's 22-year-old winger, Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a £25million move to Arsenal after Arsene Wenger revealed his interest in the Frenchman via "Telefoot".

However, the options Arsenal have behind the striker are high in both quantity and quality, so I am unsure as to why Wenger would like to sign another creative player, rather than going all out to sign a world class striker.

Griezmann is a winger by trade and obviously has the talents to be recognised all around Europe, but £25million is a lot of money to spend on an untested player in the Premier League and I think the money would be best spent on other areas of the pitch. 

Interest is not only from Arsenal, with PSG and Juventus also considering a bid. Both of these clubs need more creative players, so I can understand the logic behind their interest. Arsenal have Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain to name a few in similar positions, so unless Arsene is looking to sell on a couple of midfielders, I cannot see why he would move for Griezmann. He is also unlikely to fit in to the starting 11 immediately at any top club, let alone Arsenal, with the amount of options they can depend upon.

Griezmann has a bright future ahead of him, but I can't see him in an Arsenal shirt come August 31st. If that is the case, I would be very surprised, but I am certain the Arsenal faithful would rather spend money on Diego Costa, for example.

your analysis is very poor of three you only 1 is a natural winger (Ox) we need wingers who can penetrate through the defense like what walcott and ox do we need him or draxler in the january transfare
