11 Goals, 5 Assists: Why Manchester United Must Go All Out For Serie A Midfielder Despite Snub

Arturo Vidal has claimed that he is focused on securing domestic success with Italian giants Juventus, despite rumours that the Chile international could be on his way to the Premier League.

Man Utd need to offload plenty of dead wood this summer, with wide players Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia two names I'd like to see given the boot.

Although a central player by trade, Vidal has played the majority of his minutes in wide areas and there is no doubting that he would improve United and be much more productive than the current crop at the struggling champions of England. 

United need to do all they can to sign Vidal in my opinion, however much it takes financially. They need to return to their previous glories quickly to avoid becoming the new Liverpool and suffering many years without a league title, so Vidal would be a good starting point in rejuvenating the team and giving them a boost ahead of next season. 

He has the speed, the trickery and a fast mind to react to changing scenarios. He's ideal for English football and United in particular, who lack the speed that so many top European clubs have in the modern day game. 

This season the midfielder has scored an incredible 11 goals in Serie A, and has also claimed five assists.
