Real Madrid MUST Keep Hold Of Manchester United Target - Here's Why

Just as last summer the focus for Real Madrid was on getting Cristiano Ronaldo to sign a contract extension, this transfer window I believe it is Angel Di Maria who must stay.

It is being reported in the Daily Star that Bacary Sagna wants to stay at Arsenal, but wants the club to show how much they value him by offering him a bumper pay deal. Sagna's terms consist of wage demands in the region of £120,000 a week, apparently. which would see him double his current deal. The French right-back's other demands are a signing on fee of £6 Million and he also wants a testimonial.
Reports in Italy claim Chelsea are one of three clubs lining up a shock move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie. The Dutchman looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer as David Moyes seeks to rebuild his squad after a dreadful first season at the club. AS Monaco and Juventus are also supposedly in the race to secure the 30-year old's signature, but Stamford Bridge would be the perfect destination for the former Arsenal forward, in my eyes.
The Daily Star reports Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain have expressed their interest in bringing Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris back to France. But could that lead to more heading for the exit?
Due to financial reasons I have never, in my 24 years on this earth, had Sky Sports on my T.V for a prolonged period of time.
Transfer gossip is pretty much my favourite thing ever! I love to laugh at the ridiculous rumors and get really excited and analyse the ones that could actually happen. January is less than two months away now, so it’s about that time that the transfer rumors will start to make their way around. Personally, I can think that a certain transfer can be an absolute perfect fit, but until I see the pen hit the paper, I don’t believe it. Here are some rumors that I heard about this week and what I think about them.
With four games now gone in the French topflight, we take a look at whether the expected dominance of money bags Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco has already began to take shape.
Monaco’s free spending return to Ligue 1 has the potential to set up quite the rivalry between fellow money bags Paris Saint Germain.
The Newcastle midfielder has admitted he is intrigued by the constant linking with him to newly promoted and newly moneyed AS Monaco in Ligue 1.
It seems it is possible to resist the lure of the Monaco millions after all, with ESPN reporting that Hugo Lloris has no interest in making a return to Ligue 1 - even if it was to join the fastest growing super power around.
Nampalys Mendy, an exciting prospect for the future has denied a contract extension with the newly promoted Ligue 1 team and Manchester United have been tracking the French U21 international.
Like many, I am a fan of Radamel Falcao and his goalscoring abilities. Who doesn't like a natural goalscorer with an eye for the spectacular?
It has been a good week for the tiny principality state of Monaco. The state, based on the French south-coast, has hosted its annual Grand Prix and signed the Porto duo James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho whilst Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho is also said to be on his way. All are exciting arrivals for the side; Moutinho is one of the most accomplished play-makers in Europe, Rodriguez is said to be the ‘new-Ronaldo’ and the 35-year-old Carvalho will bring some experience to the team.
When Branislav Ivanovic was first signed for Chelsea there wasn’t much fanfare around the Serbian he seemingly just slipped into Stamford Bridge for a £10 million pound transfer fee. He didn’t play at all in his first season at the club because of a lack of match fitness it wasn’t until 8 months after signing that he made his first appearance at the club. Now Chelsea fans must all be in agreement that you wouldn’t want him missing a single game as he has become somewhat of a rock in the heart of the Chelsea defence. He is now an integral part of the Chelsea back line, rumours have begun to circulate that AS Monaco are interested in the player but for Chelsea it is important that they dismiss this interest as soon as possible.
