Lukaku On Tottenham Radar, But Is He The Man To Lead The Spurs Line?

Manchester City striker John Guidetti joined Stoke on loan for the rest of the season earlier today, presenting the young striker an opportunity to have a good run of games in England.
I’ve been particularly looking forward to seeing what the young Swede can offer in the English game following his successful loan spell at Feyenoord, in the Eredivisie, where the young striker scored an amazing 20 goals in 23 appearances.
Danny Graham helped end a long goal drought and struck against his former club Swansea to earn Hull a point in a 1-1 draw on Monday evening.
Chelsea travel to Stoke tomorrow afternoon in what is renowned as an incredibly tough place to go. Jose Mourinho's men have struggled at points on the road this season and will be in no mood to do so again when they get to the Britannia, so here are three things that the Special One should do in order to enhance the Blues' chances of victory.
Over the years David Moyes has proved a popular figure amongst Premier League fans across the nation as he has whipped his Everton side into an impressive unit under tough circumstances. Now, however, he is in the hot seat at one of the biggest clubs in the world and is finding it harder to be liked. One man who could provide him with a solid kick in the teeth this weekend is Roberto Martinez, who has led the Toffees to a remarkable start to the season.
In arguably the game of the season so far, Everton drew against rivals Liverpool 3-3 in an enthralling Merseyside derby.
A late penalty from Charlie Adam earned Stoke a dramatic point in a 3-3 draw against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. Goals from Jonathan Walters and Stephen Ireland looked to have put the Potters in the driving seat but they gave their supporters something of a scare after yielding what was at one point a 2-0 lead.
As we approach the quarter point of the season, it still remains difficult to gauge which sides are set for a long winter of battling the drop. Crystal Palace look destined for a year of struggle, whilst Sunderland despite their victory on Sunday still have it all to do but aside from those sides it is incredibly challenging to signal which other team look most likely to drop. Here we outline some of those most in danger.
There appears to be a lot more optimism around the Emirates following the closure of the transfer window. As well as keeping all of their key players, they recruited German sensation Mesut Ozil in a club record deal.
Just how good is Aaron Ramsey right now? Form of his life-good is how much, and given that Arsenal have just splashed £40m + on Mesut Ozil, it is a credit to the young Welshman that he is putting in match winning performance after match winning performance. Anyway, through this list I will highlight to you exactly why the young midfielder garners your respect and gaze for the remainder of the season.
A player whose signing won't particularly excite the fans, but equally will not cause mass outrage - he's firmly stuck in the middle of positivity and negativity. Not many signings under the reign of Wenger can be put into that category. If you take Olivier Giroud for example, he did excite the fans, but not as much as say Santi Cazorla or Lukas Podolski. However, a player like Park Chu Young didn't excite the fans at all, more baffled them. Anyway, Flamini has had a stint at Arsenal before and most fans know how that ended. Now he has returned, but with renewed determination and passion. So I will try and convince Arsenal fans that he is an exciting signing despite the fact that he was signed as a free agent.
As Mark Hughes prepares to face his former club, he must be quietly optimistic of securing a good result. The Potters come into the game having beaten the resilient West Ham away, whereas Manchester City were far from convincing in their win at home to Hull.
Stoke put in an impressive defensive performance in their opening fixture against Liverpool, with Steven Nzonzi winning nine tackles, more than an other player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.
With the Premier League returning this weekend, I have taken a look at my five stand out players from the curtain raisers in the English topflight.
