Who has the X Factor? (VIDEO)

With ITV’s hit talent show back in full force with the live shows, what Premier League footballers would make your shortlist? There have been hundreds of world class players that have braced these shores since the Premiership was formed back in 1992, and any number of footballers could present legitimate cases for their inclusion.

Plenty of Manchester United players would be in contention, with the Red Devils having won the lion’s share of domestic trophies in the past twenty years. Arsenal and Chelsea would also be well represented, with Manchester City now also boasting some of the best players in the league.

It would certainly be an unenviable task though to pick the twelve best players in Premiership history. Still though, some players deserve consideration due solely to their ability to score wonder goals, and here is a selection of the very best, including a moment of genius from one David Beckham.

Premier League talking points: six weeks in

It's good to have it back isn't it? Even with the European Championships this summer I still found myself craving the drama and excitement of the Premier League. So, how's it all looking after six weeks and six games in? Well, one thing we still know for sure; John Terry is still a loathsome moron who no one likes with a reputation that is now, if it wasn't before, irrecovably tarnished. Gutted.

What are Vela's chips? Nacho chips! (Video)

Carlos Vela's career didn't quite work out at Arsenal. A talented individual, yes, but he just didn't show enough to warrant a place in the first X1 on a consistent basis.

Can Everton qualify for the Champions League?

Everton continued their superb start to the Premier League season by dissecting a far too open Southampton side at Goodison Park to move above Manchester United into second place in the table, just three points off league leaders Chelsea. Indeed, if the Blues had fallen to defeat at Arsenal earlier in the day, then the Toffees remarkably could have been sitting pretty at the summit of the Premier League after six games.

    The Belgian Invasion (Video)

In the past, Belgians have been more memorable for their quantities of mouth-watering selection of chocolate than their somewhat mediocre football, but things have dramatically changed over the last few years and we are beginning to witness an infiltration of Belgian ability.

    The referee’s a…..legend (Video)

Premier League officials often get stick for bad decisions and for handing out red and yellow cards when there is simply no need to do so.
