Goalkeepers that keep scoring goals (video)

Goalkeepers, for the sake of their manager’s heart-rate, should stay inside their own penalty box at all times, occasionally rushing out to close down an on-rushing striker, but only in an emergency. Carragher joining Sky's line-up of legends (Video)

In a fortnight that has seen Gareth Bale awarded the double wammy of PFA player of the year and young player of the year, it's fair to say that Gary Neville would feature pretty highly in any punditary equivalent. A look back to Euro 96 - Mixed emotions for England (Video)

Euro 96 was a tournament that almost went the way that every England fan had dreamed of. Instead they ended up living the nightmare that  was the Germans and those dreaded penalties once again.
En route to that eventful semi-final, Terry Venables team participated in two fabulous matches that rightly had the press declaring that Baddiel & Skinner's prediction of 30 years of hurt coming to an end perhaps had some truth to it.

Do you remember…? Faustino Asprilla (Video)

A cartwheel followed by several fist pumps; this was the customary way that Faustino Asprilla used to celebrate after scoring a goal. The rubbery-legged Colombian enjoyed a successful career in both Italy and England and although never a prolific scorer, he was, and still is, a fan favourite.

Blackburn Rovers: Premier League champions (Video)

I still maintain that Blackburn Rovers winning the Premier League in 1995 is one of the single most incredible achievements in English football.
