One way to deal with hooliganism (Video)

Football hooliganism has, thankfully, not been a problem in our country for some years now. Unfortunately, there is still the odd occasion (Milwall at last year's FA Cup semi-final, for example) but on the whole it is generally quite a safe experience going to a football match these days.

    Wigan's woeful support

As we know, Wigan Athletic have reached their first ever FA Cup semi-final at the new Wembley, allbeit against Millwall.

Nonetheless a visit to Wembley is a special day for any club and its supporters, it's a day of celebration regardless of the end result (but it's better when you win).

I am a Portsmouth fan, I've been to Wembley several times and each time has been as special as the last, bar the Charity Shield of course.

    Rival Relegation

We all like to see our team’s rivals doing badly.

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a rival team and its fans travelling the length and breadth of the country only to be on the receiving end of a humiliating defeat that leaves them rooted towards the bottom of the table.

Leeds United's long road back to glory

Leeds United may currently be a point closer to the relegation zone than the automatic promotion places, but nobody should rule out a return to the big time for Neil Warnock’s men.

Diary of a Sky Sports Reporter

In recent weeks, I've been fortunate enough to cover matches involving some of the most in-form strikers in the country. I saw Jordan Rhodes notch one of his 27 goals for Huddersfield this season and also witnessed Millwall frontman Darius Henderson bag his second hat-trick in the space of a few days, and third of the campaign.

    Haynes in Demand

Life is good when you are a footballer, even when your club don’t want you, there always seems to be a few others interested in giving you a home. That is the case with Danny Haynes who is subject of a bidding war between Millwall and Charlton Athletic after Barnsley manager Keith Hill said he no longer needed the young striker.
