If anyone doubted whether Monaco were serious about their aims to become the latest club to buy their way to the top of club football then The Metro's report that they are set to sign the money bags favourite Radamel Falcao would indicate that they very much mean business.

    Who writes the Championship script?

You can knock it for its lack of quality and this season that argument might be as true as it has ever been, however there is no denying that few leagues can match the Championship for its remarkable levels of unpredictability, drama and entertainment.

    Why Relegation Needs To Stay

Simply put - the abolition of top-flight relegation would be the abolition of competitive English football. It would kill not only the Premier League, but the whole Football League.

    Championship Preview

After relegation from the top tier of English football, Birmingham, Blackpool and West Ham will be hoping they can bounce back at the first time of asking. Since being launched in July 2006, Twitter has amassed approximately 200 million users, generating over 190 million ‘tweets’ per day.
