Statistical Betting Preview: Norwich vs Crystal Palace

A spirited second half display from Norwich was not enough to prevent them from falling to 2-1 defeat away to Newcastle last weekend, with a solitary Leroy Fer goal late in the second half providing scant consolation for the Canaries’ travelling fans.

Statistical Preview: Hull vs Crystal Palace

Hull fell to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton following which their manager Steve Bruce admitted that they were beaten by the better side on the day. A solitary goal from Yannick Sagbo will have been no consolation for Hull’s travelling support and they will be yearning for a vastly improved performance against Crystal Palace this weekend.

5 Players Who Could Keep Crystal Palace In The Premier League

Crystal Palace are a side in deep trouble because of a very poor start to the season. They sit at the bottom of the table on just four points, with said points coming from of a victory against Sunderland early in the campaign and a draw against Everton in their last fixture before the international break. Added to that, they've scored just six goals and have conceded 21, which says a lot about who they need to beat the drop. With the unusual scenario of not having Sir Alex Ferguson in the dugout after his retirement, life at Old Trafford isn’t so rosy. David Moyes has come in and after nine games United lie in a lowly eighth. Unsurprisingly the side has come under criticism and here are the players I feel warrant it the most.

Once you’re in there, it’s hard to get out. This applies to the 3 Premier League sides currently sitting in those relegation spots. 3 Big Money Strikers Trying To Make Their Name In The Premier League

It is hard enough to get going in the Premier League without someone paying millions of pounds to acquire your services.  Such fees automatically raise expectations, and there have been many examples of players who have found it hard to shake off the pressure that a huge price tag can bring.  This is especially true of strikers, who are judged primarily on how many times they find the net.

3 reasons why a rejuvenated Wayne Rooney staying will help Manchester United

It’s amazing what a difference a month can make. Going back to the start of August it seemed Rooney was destined for the exit door with Chelsea ready to be his saviour. Jose Mourinho had already publically admitted his interest for Rooney but understandably new manager David Moyes was less than enthused to let him go.
