8 Bundesliga Players Whose Contracts Are Nearly Up

To continue the topic of free agents available at the start of the next season, I will be looking at the Bundesliga and what bargains could be had there. After looking at the Premier League and looking at the Bundesliga in this article, I will name a few more free agents from a couple of other leagues to provide an idea of the quality that may well be available this time next year.

Why Arsenal Should Consider Move For Bundesliga Forward

The 21-year-old German versatile forward can play out on the wings or in the middle, but with his current team, Hoffenheim, he has been playing mostly behind the striker. Perhaps at the moment, that is not a position Wenger is looking to reinforce, but the young talented player’s versatility and young age would be worth investing in. Technically, Volland can fit in with the likes of Özil, Walcott, Wilshere, Podolski, Cazorla and even Giroud spots.

Now that we have looked at who some of our Premier League clubs should nab from some of Europe's top leagues, here are five players that Borussia Dortmund should look at from the English topflight.

Can Bayern Munich win the Champions League again?

After a shaky start to the season, FC Bayern seemed to be lacking the strength they possessed last season. But as weeks went by, it became clear that all they needed to adapt to their new head coach was a little bit of time. And there they go again! They’re back to winning ways!

Will This Bayern Munich Star Be Forced Out Of The Club?

With a somewhat lacklustre time at Bayern Munich so far and it not looking like it will get any better any time soon, could Xherdan Shaqiri be on his way out of Germany?

    Boateng arrival lifts Schalke Gloom

So it might not have been as eye catching as some of the big money moves across Europe in the madness and melee of the closing days of the transfer window, however Schalke’s capture of Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng could well prove one of the shrewdest.

A closer look at Toni Kroos

For my last video I want to talk more in depth about one of my top 10 favourite players in Europe at the moment. The Bayern Munich man oozes class and quality which is what I adore about him. With Bayern signing Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara, his place in the team has come under increasing threat. If he is dislodged from the team, in my opinion, he's too good to be a back up. This is an Arsene Wenger style signing, potentially available and the possibility to get him at a reduced price due to his contract expiring in the summer of 2015. Bayern will not want Kroos to enter the final year of his contract with teams prowling around him.

A closer look at Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus

Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus is one of the five players I mentioned yesterday in regards to who Arsenal should be targeting in January and I discussed why his transfer to Arsenal wouldn't be as ridiculous as some people make out it would be. A quick summary for those who didn't read it yesterday. Tomas Rosicky is his idol, he supports Arsenal, he speaks very highly of Jack Wilshere, the arrival of Mesut Ozil and the German influence on the team in general.

    Top 10: My Favourite Players

It's a topic that has been running through my mind for quite a while. Which footballers do I like, not only as a player but also their attitude? It's not easy, but I feel like the players I've chosen abide by my check-list -hard working, quality and versatile are just a few of the categories they must succeed in.

Is Being A Football 'Hipster' More Difficult Than People Think?

A term coined in the 40's which describes someone as being 'aficionados of the growing scene'. Now with the development of social media websites such as Twitter, the word 'hip' or 'hipster' now describes a football fan who supports a club who most fans wouldn't consider supporting despite their obvious amounts of quality. The team that took the 'hipster' crown last season was Borussia Dortmund. A few years ago, a majority of football fans never realised their quality but thanks to success in the Bundesliga and Champions League (sort of) recently fans have started to follow this club as a 'secondary' team because they like the way they play. But it's not just football clubs that decide whether you're 'hip' or not, players can also help you.

Which league is the best? - the stadiums

Whilst the English Premier League is the self-proclaimed greatest league in the world, and attracts the most viewers from a worldwide audience, is it actually the best league regarding quality of players, teams and football played, or is it just that the increased media coverage makes people believe that it is the finest on offer? I decided to take a closer look at how it compares with other European leagues by focusing on the stadiums in each country.

Is the use of a double pivot in midfield crucial to the modern game?

A lot has been said about the modern game. Some people welcome the concept, whereas others completely disagree and ridicule the idea. No matter what anyone says, football is definitely changing and whether people decide to accept it or not is another problem entirely. Alas, the subject of my piece does intertwine with the idea but rather the tactical side of things more than the politics.
