Could We See This German Star In The Premier League Soon?

With the arrival of Kevin Prince-Boateng at Schalke from AC Milan, could it signal the sale of highly rated German teenager, Julian Draxler?

I’ve seen various tweets suggesting that Arsenal are ready to bid forty million euros for a German international, and with Mezut Ozil saying he will be staying at Real Madrid this season combined with the arrival of ex-Ghana midfielder to Schalke, it does look like it could marry up.

Although, with Michel Bastos leaving the Bundesliga club, it could suggest that Draxler would become a fully fledged left-winger whilst the Prince would become apart of the pivot in midfield, alongside Hoger/Jones. I know he is highly rated in the footballing world by managers and journalists alike, so it seems weird that Schalke would get rid of him. Perhaps it’s my Arsenal head switched on still, and i’m just accepting any rumour that surfaces on social media sites in the hope they come true.

It wouldn’t be a proper transfer linking if Chelsea weren’t involved, so obviously they’ve been rumoured to have thrown their hat into the ring, and with Victor Moses seeming to be out the door of the London club, maybe Draxler could take up Moses’ squad role and never play, unless it’s a dead rubber in Europe or the league cup - then he may get a run out.

If a player like Juan Mata cannot get into the starting line-up for Chelsea, how is a teenager like Draxler going to stand a chance, especially when Mata has been Chelsea’s player of the year for the past two seasons? And it seems that the left hand side of the “three amigos” is Eden Hazard’s position, so I think it would cause a storm at Chelsea if he was dropped and replaced by Julian Draxler, if he signed.

With United also being linked to him, even though they’ve got a similar player in Shinji Kagawa who can’t nail down a starting spot, it would seem redundant to sign the German who possesses the most terrifying name in contrast to the most baby-like face.
