    A closer look at Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus

    Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus is one of the five players I mentioned yesterday in regards to who Arsenal should be targeting in January and I discussed why his transfer to Arsenal wouldn't be as ridiculous as some people make out it would be. A quick summary for those who didn't read it yesterday. Tomas Rosicky is his idol, he supports Arsenal, he speaks very highly of Jack Wilshere, the arrival of Mesut Ozil and the German influence on the team in general.

    Now, Marco Reus is one of the best talents in Europe in his position and will have plenty of top European teams vying for his signature. It's no wonder either, he's been in good form this season scoring four goals in eight games for Dortmund as well as grabbing four assists. It's his form last season which attracted the interest. In 32 Bundesliga games, he scored 14 goals and assisted a further 11. He also added a further five goals and five assists in other competitions for Dortmund.

    It's his link up play with other team mates that has really earned him the plaudits. When he develops such a good understanding with a player, he can literally tear any team to shreds. His movement off the ball is as good as anybody's in the world, his movement on the ball is even better. The pace at which he fires in a pass and receives the ball in a one-two can leave teams absolutely bewildered. It was him and Gotze that devastated opposition. The dynamic duo were simply too hot to handle.

    The video is an extension of my admiration for the player so just sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

      In general, poverty and lack of education are far more significant factors in high fertility rates than religion. So the real root of environmental problems is not population, but poverty and injustice. Remember, too, that people's impact on the environment can be more serious than numbers would show.

    imagine us signing a centre back who is quick and playing 3 at the back ,four in midfield and three up front it frightens me the damage Walcott,girroud and this feller would do to defences but would arsene be brave enough to try this system which I believe would work it may put our nerves on edge and we might win games6-5 but I can only dream

    Arsenal will never sign any key players from Dortmund. Sadly, at the moment, Dortmund is clearly the bigger club and the players like Gündogan, Reus, Bender and so on know what they have in Dortmund and Klopp. As a huge fan of both clubs, I can't see this happen. Dortmund wouldn't let go their key players easily, nevertheless, that I don't think, any of them feel the desire to go. There is no chance, that Arsenal could sign one of them.

    @Wayne
    Dortmund not a bigger club now dude. Last season maybe. Arsenal is gaining momentum from our last run and the OZ arrival. One world class striker add on January, then we'll back to our 8 years unfinished bussiness. Infact I even think that Arsenal can hijack Lewandowski under Munchen nose. If we can match Munchen offers (will be around 25-30M pounds) or even beat them, Dortmund will pick us over their biggest rival, as they already loss Goetze. Lewa will hard to persuade in personal terms, but with 120-150K per week plus the service of European best goal provider (the OZ), believe me, he'll change his mind.
    On Reus case, I'm afraid Dortmund won't let him go by fair pricetag. Offcourse if they give him the option, won't be difficult to him to pick us, as we all know that he is "GOONER INSIDE". It cross my mind, why don't we swap Poldi to Reus?
    Can't wait to see this Wayne's "bigger club" againts us in ECL.

    Arsenal haven't won anything for 8 years. Dortmund were in the CL final last year, won the double the year before, and the championship 2011. Clearly Dortmund is the bigger club currently, even if it hurts and they have more quality in their roster.
    Additionally we won't hijack Lewandowski. It's an open secret, that he will go to Munich for free next year and to no other club.
    Don't get me wrong. I don't think that Dortmund ist far better than Arsenal, the gap is close, but currently, Dortmund ist better. They have a by far better coach, the club structure is solid and overall have the better players.
    My first love will always be the Arsenal, but in my opinion, Arsenal isn't as good as Dortmund in the moment and all the rumours of Arsenal getting close on some Dortmunder players came only from england. This rumours are bullshit and I would even bet, that in the near future, no Dortmund star (key player) will leave for Arsenal.
    Poldi is seen very critically in germany (even Per). I can't see same swap for Reus.
