Will This Bayern Munich Star Be Forced Out Of The Club?

With a somewhat lacklustre time at Bayern Munich so far and it not looking like it will get any better any time soon, could Xherdan Shaqiri be on his way out of Germany?

I remember when I first saw Xherdan playing, It was FC Basel against Manchester United and I was so amazed at how good he was. He was about 18 or 19 at the time and came across like he had been playing the game for years, he had a wonderful gait about him and would drift between the lines and flank to flank and tore United to shreds at times.

He was an unknown quantity at that time and I would of never have guessed he was a teenager, mainly due the confidence he put on display and he is one stocky so and so. He reminds me of an Andy Reid, but ya’know, a really, really good Andy Reid.

Obviously at Bayern under Pep, chances are going to be hard to come by, but when you’re a winger who wants to play centrally, you’re up against Bastian Schweinsteiger, Javi Martinez, Toni Kroos and Mario Gotze to name just a few.

Shaqiri has only really been used as of late due to injuries to Martinez and Thiago Alcantara, so when they return to full fitness, you can’t really see him nailing down a starting position and pushed back out wide, where he has to out-place Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben...easy, right!?

Shaqiri has previous links to Liverpool, but I assume they will sign Victor Moses on a permanent basis at the end of the season and with them being very similar players, I don’t think they would pursue both. With a contract running until 2016, he would be worth quite a bit, but he’s not exactly indispensable so Pep may be persuaded to sell.

Garbage. Shaqiri does not play centrally and is a winger. He is perfectly happy at Bayern and he is indispensable because he gives them some vital bench strength.

You don't know anything about such articles. At least do some research before writing this fantasy-driven nonsense.
