Where Does Juan Mata Stand At Chelsea?

Manchester United and Chelsea played out a boring and somewhat uneventful Premier League match at Old Trafford on Monday night. Despite the eneventful 90 minutes, there were two aspects that intereseted me; the first was that Wayne Rooney started and played quite decently, and the second was that Juan Mata was once again overlooked by Jose Mourinho. What is going on with the little Spaniard, and has Mourinho already taken a dislike to Chelsea's Player of the Season for the last two years?

Do Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures At Arsenal?

Six minutes into the Premier League season and Arsene Wenger would have been feeling fairly good about his team. Olivier Giroud had put the Gunners ahead in their tie against Aston Villa, and most fans in the stadium would have been expecting more goals to come. The following 20 minutes did see further reasons for encouragement, but the ball didn't end up in the back of the Villa net.

    Arsenal's Wonderkid - Gedion Zelalem

My article from yesterday has inspired my video choices for today, as I will provide three clips on some of the Arsenal youngsters I mentioned. Three reasons Darren Bent and Newcastle could be a match made in heaven

Out of favour Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has been linked with Alan Pardew’s Newcastle side for a couple of weeks now and Newcastle hope they can complete the signing in the near future. Bent has struggled to find a place in the first team at Villa Park due to the form of Christian Benteke which meant he only made 16 appearances all season.
