If the ambitious pursuits of the likes of Falcao and Hulk are proving beyond difficult then Chelsea might find it easier to sign another striker who they have been linked with, as Sky Sports News are indicating that Wilfried Bony will not be at his current club Vitesse Arnham next season.

Carroll is a much better fit in this West Ham side than he ever was at Liverpool, and has put in some decent performances for the East London club when fit, but it stands to reason that Big Sam may not want to be the next manager to cough up a hefty fee for a potentially hit-and-miss striker.
