Bony ready for Premier League switch

If the ambitious pursuits of the likes of Falcao and Hulk are proving beyond difficult then Chelsea might find it easier to sign another striker who they have been linked with, as Sky Sports News are indicating that Wilfried Bony will not be at his current club Vitesse Arnham next season.
Bony has been in electric form this term scoring 26 goals for his Dutch club, form which had initially been generating Premiership interest from the likes of West Ham and Newcastle however so impressive is Bony's record that Chelsea have now entered the race.
Signing a player based on scoring goals for fun in the Dutch league is of course always a risk, for every Luis Suarez there will be an Alfonso Alves so with that in mind Chelsea or whoever else is interested will be advised to think this one through properly, although it is not exactly the Chelsea way to be cautious.
Bony had never shown such supreme goal scoring form in years gone by, although at 24 it might be that he is just hitting his peak and not signing him could prove to be a huge error. Bony certainly looks an interesting prospect and with the obvious comparisons to Didier Drogba being made already Chelsea might just take the gamble.
