Sacked In The Morning: 3 Potential Allardyce Replacements Should West Ham Get Rid

West Ham’s poor season can be blamed on a few things, but the one that stands out most of all is the manager, Sam Allardyce. Old school West Ham fans never accepted him from the start and those that did take to him are now starting to see the cracks. Despite the joint-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan supposedly giving Allardyce their backing, it seems to be only a matter of time before he gets the sack. Here are three potential replacements.

THREE Strikers Who Could Help West Ham Get Out Of Trouble

West Ham currently find themselves just a point off the bottom of the Premier League table right now and things are looking bleak. After receiving a whipping from Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup yesterday the pressure is firmly on the Hammers to pick up their form and start scoring more goals, so I thought that I would have a look for some forwards who could potentially benefit the side.

Wonderful Walcott: A Closer Look At How The Winger Inspired Arsenal's Win Over West Ham

West Ham, or Sam Allardyce in particular, comes with a stigma attached. They are renowned for being an ugly side who like to lump the ball up the field to a big man who knocks it down to the runners around him. The Hammers may have mixed it up a bit this season, but they are in a desperate position and have continuously turned in sluggish performances this term. So, to exploit the lethargic Londoners, you'd naturally deploy a speedy, determined forward to was willing to run at their giant defenders, wouldn't you?

THREE Tottenham Players Who Deserve To Be Dropped After West Ham Loss - Opinion

Despite sacking Andre Villas-Boas midweek, Tottenham fell to another home defeat to West Ham, this time in the League Cup. Two late goals from the Hammers saw them progress into the semi-finals of the competition and heaped more misery on their London rivals. Here are three players that I would drop from the Spurs side after the defeat, having been at the game in my White Hart Lane season ticket seat.

Statistical Preview: West Ham vs Sunderland

Manager Sam Allardyce has bemoaned his team’s lack of luck in recent weeks as the Hammers continue their unfortunate slide down the table. They host Sunderland in a game that can only be described as a ‘relegation six-pointer’.

West Ham Linked With Champions League Winner, But Can He Guide Them To Safety?

Barcelona lit the European stage up with their inventive system in which they play with no strikers, with Lionel Messi and the like making up for it. West Ham have played with no strikers this season, but rather than packing their midfield with inventive players it is purely because they have had a lack of strikers to choose from. Now, though, as the new year approaches, the Mirror are reporting that Sam Allardyce could make a move for Inter's Diego Milito - the striker who fired Jose Mouirnho's Serie A side to the Champions League trophy back in 2010.

West Ham: Drop Nolan, Play Two Up Front and Inject Some Pace Into The Side Against Liverpool

West Ham fell to a 1-0 loss at home to Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace this week and now travel to Liverpool in an attempt to stifle the Reds' superstars. Luis Suarez scored four and assisted one in their win at Norwich this week and will be confident of easing past the Hammers, so here are three things the capital club need to do to have a chance of winning the game.

West Ham: Unleash Morrison, Play A Striker And Smother Jedinak To Beat Crystal Palace

Tonight offers us the chance to watch two of the struggling sides in the Premier League hoof it out against one another, as notorious long-ball lovers Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis meet for the first time this season. West Ham travel to Crystal Palace this evening, so here are a few things I think big Sam should do in order to stifle the Eagles and hand them their 11th loss of the season.

Crystal Palace: Drop Gayle, Crowd The Midfield And Shoot From Distance To Beat West Ham

Tuesday night sees a turgid battle at the bottom of the Premier League when West Ham travel across London to meet Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. It will be Tony Pulis' second game in charge of the Eagles in what looks to be shaping up as a long-ball fest, so here are my thoughts on how the home side can gain a crucial three points.

Opinion: A Fulham Loss At West Ham Would Surely Be The End Of Jol

Fulham's start of the season has been nothing short of appalling so far and the fans have just about had enough of it. They currently sit inside the bottom three and don't look as though that is going to change any time soon, so with Martin Jol's headed wanted across west London and their next outing being against London rivals West Ham, I think that this could be the weekend that the Dutch coach finally gets the boot.

5 Defenders Who Could Sort West Ham Out

West Ham are in a rut at the moment. Just one place outside the relegation zone with ten points, the only thing keeping them out is their goal difference, which is better than Fulham's. Without a win since the start of October, without a point since the start of November, shipping nine goals since their last victory against Tottenham and only scoring two, it is a real sorry state of affairs for the East London club. On paper, they have a good team, but injuries, form and abilities of some players have severely hindered them in this campaign. Because of their relatively dry spell in front of goal, you'd expect me to create a list of strikers that Sam Allardyce could sign but, because I've already covered it, why not develop a list for their other problem area: defence. Who could come in and plug the gap that Winston Reid looks like he'll be leaving through injury?:
