Why German Winger Could Be The Perfect Addition For Arsenal

Okay, by now the news that Arsenal are set to move in for for Patrick Herrmann is out already, and he’s not a young promising player that Arsene Wenger’s side is not aware of anymore. But more than two months ago, I wrote an article suggesting German players that Arsenal should consider, and Patrick Herrmann was one of them. Now let’s have a closer look at the player and why he could be a great signing for Arsenal.

Can Aaron Ramsey Maintain His Blistering Start To The Season?

While Aaron Ramsey had had a terrific pre-season to add to his incredible closing stages of last seasons, even the most optimistic Arsenal fan could not have predicted at the beginning of the season the immense scoring form that he would be in. The question now is, can he keep it up for the entire season?

Top 5: Premier League's Most Impressive Players - Includes Manchester United Double

Yesterday, out of sheer fun and boredom, I sat down and tried to come up with a list of the top five players in the English Premier League. I found out that due to the immense quality of players currently plying their trade in the English League, that it is VERY hard to be able to muster such a list without any hitches in the decision making process along the way. Below is my results (which I am sure will garner a few moans and groans, if not swears):

Player Report: Is Arsenal Target Juan Cuadrado All He's Cracked Up To Be?

I have to admit that having seen overly-hyped players from leagues other than the Barclays Premier League arrive and either flop miserably, or fail to show their previous form such as Gervinho, Marko Marin, and more recently Jozy Altidore, I currently tend to be a bit more skeptical when it comes to believing and hyping players who I haven’t seen enough of to judge well. However, after seeing some bits and pieces of the mercurial Juan Cuadrado, as well as some games he played in, I have come to believe that this is a player who has all the necessary qualities to be a huge success in the Premier League.

Why Players Should Think Twice Before Moving To Paris Saint-Germain

In yet another story of a mediocre club being bought by billionaires, Paris St Germain has been no stranger to money in the past few years. Some of the most talented players in the world have decided to call the city of lights their home recently, even David Beckham got in on the action before retiring. But, there is just something about PSG that I just can’t wrap my head around. I feel like these superstars that decide to play there are forgotten, going to a league that isn’t quite as popular as all of the others. Yes, they qualify for the Champions League, but even there, they’re up against giants, and they can’t really compete.

Should Hernandez Be Looking To Leave Manchester United?

Manchester United have been going through a few changes this season - yes, changes, that’s a good word to describe it. Currently sitting 8th in the Premier League table, United are really feeling the loss of Sir Alex Ferguson. Last season they were kings, this season, well, it’s a bit of a dull roar right now. However, one thing that has remained the same since last season is Javier Hernandez’s struggle to find his place at the club.

Why Fans Should Give Luis Suarez A Break

A few months ago if I was asked to choose a few words to describe Luis Suarez, I guarantee that a majority of them would be quite vulgar. I was already was on the fence about him prior to the day of his afternoon Branislav Ivanovic snack, and that proved the final straw. I could not take his negative attitude any longer and I jumped on the bandwagon of Suarez-haters. However, once upon a time, I didn’t hate him, and slowly he’s starting to make his way back into my good graces.

Why Arsenal Should Consider Move For Bundesliga Forward

The 21-year-old German versatile forward can play out on the wings or in the middle, but with his current team, Hoffenheim, he has been playing mostly behind the striker. Perhaps at the moment, that is not a position Wenger is looking to reinforce, but the young talented player’s versatility and young age would be worth investing in. Technically, Volland can fit in with the likes of Özil, Walcott, Wilshere, Podolski, Cazorla and even Giroud spots.

3 Teams Battling Relegation From The Premier League This Season

Once you’re in there, it’s hard to get out. This applies to the 3 Premier League sides currently sitting in those relegation spots. Just 7 games in, it’s a certainty that Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Norwich will all endure a fight for survival, one which none of these clubs have had much experience of escaping.

West Ham Will Continue Playing Allardyce's Way

For years Sam Allardyce’s sides have come under scrutiny for the way they play their football and the common presumption that the Hammers ‘hoof’ it up is pretty accurate. This, however ugly it may seem to fans of Arsenal, Swansea and Barcelona – works. A 10th place Premier League finish last season goes a long way to justifying that. Would you rather win more matches, or pass the ball more?

    Can Swansea's Success Story Continue?

Swansea City won their first major trophy last season after picking up the Capital One Cup in February, and although they are unlikely to win another, it doesn’t mean things can’t get better for the Welsh club. Teams such as Aston Villa and Newcastle United, who have been top half sides for most of the Premiership era, have slipped away over the last few years – the exception being the Toon’s 2011/2012 campaign - so can Michael Laudrup’s establish themselves as a top half club?

Can Danny Welbeck Become A Key Player For Manchester United?

With uncertainty surrounding the future of Manchester United strikers Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney, there is a huge reliance on Robin van Persie to scored goals. Or is there? Danny Welbeck only managed one league goal last season, but a double against Swansea on Super Sunday may inspire him onto becoming a 15-20 goal a season striker for David Moyes.
