Liverpool MUST Give On Loan Forward A Chance Next Season - Here's Why

Sunderland's on-loan striker Fabio Borini has recently claimed he is ready to play for a big team, such as parent club Liverpool. After stepping up for the Black Cats on several occasions, the Italian has scored crucial match winners against the likes of Manchester United in the Capital One Cup semi final, and arch rivals Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby. Also recently scoring the opener in Sunderland's Capital One Cup final loss to Manchester City, Borini claimed "That means I am made for a big team." The 22-year old returns to Anfield at the end of the season and I believe he should be given another chance in a red shirt.

Injuries plagued Borini's first season at Liverpool as the former Roma man hardly featured in a disappointing year for the Reds, before moving to Sunderland on a year-long loan. However, Borini's 'knife between the teeth' celebration has been an iconic gesture among Sunderland fans after grabbing the winners in such important games.

The former Italian U-21 international is flowing with confidence and a fresh start at Liverpool will surely be beneficial to both himself and Brendan Rodgers, who looks to provide decent back up to the Premier League's top two scorers, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Competition for places in a side for which Champions League football is looking likely next season would provide the ideal opportunity for Borini to develop himself into a key player for Liverpool, as he looks to earn a place in the Italy's senior squad.

Providing he can stay injury-free and Liverpool ignore any offers of a permanent transfer to Sunderland, Fabio Borini could be a key player for the Reds next season and beyond and back up his claims that he was made for a big team.

Reds fans, do you agree Borini should be given another chance at Anfield?
