    The Flamini effect at Arsenal

Today, Arsenal face Liverpool and as an Arsenal fan, I am very worried about the fact that Flamini isn't in the squad.

3 players to fire Arsenal to the title

With Arsenal producing the strongest start to the season and also the biggest signing of the transfer window as well, the Gunners fans will be daring to dream about a first Premier League title in a decade. But what three players will give them the edge as the season goes on? Which three would persuade you to use your bwin bonus to back the gunners to be Champions?

5 things we've learned about Arsenal so far this season

As I mentioned in my last post, this is the point in the season where we can finally analyse players signed over the summer, but it's also a time for us to analyse how well our clubs are doing and if there's anything new about them. A lot of new things have happened over at Arsenal, things that may have flown under the radar but have been picked up upon by me. Anyway, down to business.

Is Mathieu Flamini already indispensable to Arsenal?

After a genuine consensus that the re-signing of Flamini from AC Milan was a step back instead of a step forward, the Frenchman has proved the doubters wrong and may have secured a starting spot in the Arsenal team for now.

    A Mathieu Flamini Appreciation (video)

I want to discuss Mathieu Flamini yet again. I know what you're thinking, surely you've said enough for us to believe that he is a good signing? While that may well be true, I want to use a visual aid to improve your understanding further and not just taking my word for it.

Why Mathieu Flamini will be a success at Arsenal

A player whose signing won't particularly excite the fans, but equally will not cause mass outrage - he's firmly stuck in the middle of positivity and negativity. Not many signings under the reign of Wenger can be put into that category. If you take Olivier Giroud for example, he did excite the fans, but not as much as say Santi Cazorla or  Lukas Podolski. However, a player like Park Chu Young didn't excite the fans at all, more baffled them. Anyway, Flamini has had a stint at Arsenal before and most fans know how that ended. Now he has returned, but with renewed determination and passion. So I will try and convince Arsenal fans that he is an exciting signing despite the fact that he was signed as a free agent.

Real Madrid's Loss Is Arsenal's Gain

After several months of inactivity on the transfer front, with the exception of the free transfer signings of Sanogo and Flamini, Arsenal fans finally had a marquee signing to cheer about, and it did come quite out of the blue.

Why Signing Mathieu Flamini Was A Wise Move For Arsenal

After looking at Yaya Sangogo in my previous article, I thought I'd have a closer look at Arsenal's French midfielder Mathieu Flamini. Now if your memory serves you well, you will remember the name Mathieu Flamini as the player had previously spent time in the Premier League. In fact, he spent his previous time with Arsenal, when the Gunners had a midfield which included Alex Hleb, Francesc Fabregas and Tomas Rosicky. This time round, though, the Frenchman will be playing alongside Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey to name a few. It's a change, yes, but the quality of players around him remains the same, if not better.

Whatever happened to Mathieu Flamini? (Video)

The last time Arsenal challenged for the title was in the 2007-2008 season and Mathieu Flamini was one of the main reasons why.
