Should Mello Capello Leave Out Looney Rooney?

So a slight detour from everything Manchester City but I am amazed by the news coming out of the media regarding Wayne Rooneys ban. After what was a stupid lash out in Englands last qualifying game Mr Rooney has been handed a three match ban, which will see him out of the Euro group stage. That is if Mr Capello takes him, which I have no doubt he will.

The greatest rivalry in English Club Football

Every year when the fixture list comes out for the new season, the first thing a fan does is look at when their team is playing their fiercest rivals. The next thing they do is to tell the girlfriend, wife or fiancé that under any circumstances nothing is to happen on the day of that fixture.

The Glorious Outrage of Poor Refereeing

The past few days have reminded us that despite all our clamour for the likes of goalline technology, and video referees to help get every decision right, we all love to argue. Arsenal's missing youth in the youth policy

Ever since we started investing seriously in our youth academy, there has always been an excitement about our young graduates becoming the ‘next big thing’ in Arsenal’s first-team. While the likes of Wilshere, Ramsey, Szczsney and Frimpong have become valuable members of the squad, the one who is conspicuously missing from that list is Henri Lansbury.

    City 2 Everton 0 - My Verdict

The away side started the brighter of the two teams with some nice build-up play from the likes of Leighton Baines and Jack Rodwell. It wasn’t long before City took control, with the Toffee’s continuing tactic of not playing a recognised striker hindering any chance of a real threat on goal.

    Balotelli Shoots Down Everton

Manchester City took all three points from their match today placing them, at least for the moment, in the top spot, with United playing later today. Manchester City have not won a game against Everton at home since New Years Day 2007 and had only managed a total of three points, home and away since that day to this. Now it's six!
