Ashley Cole has had a tough few weeks. Well, if you consider sitting on the sideline earning mega money for doing nothing tough, anyway. As a result of injury he lost his place for both club and country and has failed to wriggle himself back into either, despite now being available for selection. The left-back has seen his Chelsea place taken by Cesar Azpilicueta in recent weeks but this weekend that needs to change, in my opinion.

To take a break from my 'who's on offer' series, I will be looking at five players that Chelsea should loan out in January to make room for any new signings and for those players that do go on loan, to gain valuable experience or just game time in general. Chelsea are famous for being very strict and blunt with players and staff. If you're under performing or not part of the plans then you're off.
