Why Tim Sherwood Would Be Unlucky To Leave Spurs In The Summer

Tim Sherwood has done a reasonably good job since taking over from Andre Villas-Boas, back in December. He has cemented Spurs to fifth position in the league and is hopeful he can continue in the hot-seat next season and place a challenge for the top four.

However, recent results and performances have not been up to the high standard set by the supporters who have not been in the Champions League since the 2010-11 season, where they reached the quarter-finals.

Sherwood recently criticised his team for their embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge, stating that the players showed no fight and fell apart in the second half. He received a fair amount of media stick himself for these comments, but I felt he did the right and decent thing, by telling it how it is and being honest with himself and the squad, showing his passion for the job and his desire to take Tottenham into the upcoming seasons.

Despite Sherwood's passion, I don't think he will be the boss next season. Speculation that Louis van Gaal is coming to the Premier League after the World Cup is gathering pace and I think Daniel Levy will see him as a long term successor to AVB, who wasted Gareth Bale's transfer money on players who have not set the league on fire, and costing a lot of money for the rare glimpses of quality shown.

Van Gaal has plenty of experience in Europe and would be a good fit in my opinion, but it would be unfair from Sherwood's point of view, if he were to be sacked. For me, has done a far better job than AVB and has proved his worth as a potential topflight manager for the years to come.

The honeymoon period is well and truly OVER!.
Sherwood is a sunday league manager. The press eats up this tough English managers shit but I can see through him He lacks self controll(If that gillet throwing routeen isnt a act) tactically terrible and he makes eeeeeverything about him .I cant wait till hes gone. The only reason rival managers want us to keep him is because were not a threat with him. Danny Rose and Townsend back him because any top manager would probably drop them .AVB wasnt perfect he messed up with the Adebayor situation but we wasnt alI over the place like we are now AVB could of pulled it together. The Brittish press just doesnt like the guy and couldnt wait for his down fall. I bet we would be still in the Europa if he was here.

    P.S
    FUCK TIM SHERWOOD

Mate, Sherwood would not be unlucky to be sacked rather he was lucky to get the job in the first place.
Sherwood is clueless but he isn't the only one who has to go. In the opinion of many, Levy has to go too and he can take Baldini with him in the process.
