    Adnan Januzaj

Six months ago only the most ardent Manchester United fans would have known who this chap was. The 18-year-old was drafted into the pre season squad for Manchester United's warm up games and without any warning at all he exploded onto our scenes.

The Belgium-born winger has slowly crept into the side and is now a first team regular - be it from the bench or starting from the off - and he's excelled in his new-found role.

His brace at Sunderland was the peak of his short career so far and he looks to br growing every game. He is a player who has the Old Trafford crowd on their feet because of his willingness to run at people and implement skill into his game, and as he is still a teenager that could be the case for many years to come.

It's not all bad, United fans, stop your whinging.

    Mistake Number 1 - Where's Shinji Kagawa?

The one that has got everyone talking is the fact Shinji Kagawa hasn't played as much as he perhaps should have. A slight niggle in pre season has seen his progression halted and now when he does get the chance to show what he can do he looks sluggish, rusty and about as effective as a wet sock.

Before he arrived in Manchester he was a sharp, intelligent player who could either carry the ball forward with his feet or thread passes through defences to the Borussia Dortmund forwards.

This season has seen Adnan Junazaj take the left wing, Antonio Valencia take the right and Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie occupy the top spots, leaving Kagawa in the background.

Many have argued that the Japan international should be sitting just in front of Michael Carrick, especially with the questionable form from Marouane Fellaini since his arrival, and I agree with them.

Kagawa needs to be more involved, for me.

Mistake Number 2 - Not Being Brave Enough

If there is one thing that the Manchester United fans strive for it is the for the players to go out and give everything for the cause. They want to see their team go all out attack and take the opponent by the throat and ruthlessly rip them down - something we are yet to see under Moyes.

The players look somewhat cautious when they take to the field and setting up with two defence-minded midfielders doesn't help.

Going forward isn't a problem, as both Rooney and van Persie are match winners, but when opponents attack United they look unbelievably weak. Carrick and Fellaini are slow, as is Rio Ferdinand, so without the likes of a Cleverley - who offers little more than energetic running - United are left in the lurch.

The mindset has seem to change from undefeatable giants to that of a timid, little mouse, and United fans aren't happy.

Mistake Number 3 - Giving Ryan Giggs Too Much To Do

As the former Wales international's legs have tired throughout the years, Fergie has played t Giggs less and less. He has also been reverted to a central player to maximise his passing ability. Now, though, despite being handed a larger responsibility as a player coach, Moyes though it would be a good idea to play Giggs in the first three games of the season.

He naturally tired himself out - he is nearly 40 after all, and was given a break, but he has been drafted back into the starting eleven recently.

He is not the player he used to be and it upsets me that he looks to be getting worse. He is still capable of the defence-splitting passes, like the one we saw against Cardiff, but they are becoming a rare sight.

This season he has made just two key passes, won 2/9 of his take ons and completed just 73% of his passes, which is the worst in the entire squad.

    Top5 - Number 1: Loic Remy

    Games: 11

    Goals: 5

    Chances Created: 13

    Pass Accuracy: 76%

    Estimated Cost: £11m

Since arriving at the club in January, Remy has taken the Premier League by storm. His willingness to run at people and strike from any position on the pitch makes him a real pleasure to watch, and his speed to expose the space behind backlines is enchanting.

The France international has the pedigree to play at the very top of European football, so a stint in the Championship is almost certainly not going to happen for him, especially at 26-years-old. However, The Rs will want a substantial fee for the forward as they coughed up £8m and a four-and-a-half-year contract for him.

Arsenal are believed to be interested in his services and a move seems likely to go ahead when the season comes to an end.

    Top5 - Number 2: Adel Taarabt

    Games: 29

    Goals: 5

    Chances Created: 75

    Pass Accuracy: 81%

    Estimated Cost: £10m

Renowned as a stroppy player who throws his toys out of the pram when one of his beloved step-overs doesn't come off, Taarabt isn't likely to be willing to drop back into the Championship after all the struggles of getting out of it.

The Morocco international is blessed with technical brilliance and this has been noted, I am sure, by every manager at the top of the game, but his lack of enthusiasm and his lazy approach to the game is hindering his chances of playing for a major European club.

Still only 23-years-old, the Rs midfielder still has a lot to look forward to in the game. I just hope his attitude won't spoil his progress.

    Top5 - Number 3: Esteban Granero

    Games: 23

    Goals: 1

    Chances Created: 47

    Pass Accuracy: 84%

    Estimated Cost: £7.5m

We were all surprised when Mark Hughes managed to nab Esteban Granero in the summer. His early performances underlined the fact that he was a big fish in a little pond, but when the club's hit rock bottom so did his individual performances.

With almost 100 games in the Real Madrid first team, Granero has the experience and the ability to slot into an established Premier League midfield. He offers a real array of technical skills and can turn the game on its head with a single pass.

Granero is a year into his four-year contract in London, but is well worth a Premier League side making a serious offer for.

    Top5 - Number 4: Julio Cesar

    Games: 24

    Clean Sheets: 6

Average Goals Per Game Conceded: 1.54

    Average Saves Per Goal: 2.55

    Claim Success: 100%

    Distribution Success: 49%

    Estimated Cost: £4m

When the capital club landed Julio Cesar from Inter in the summer, many believed it was the start of something special at Loftus Road. After all, his prestigious trophy cabinet confirmed him as one of the most established keepers in world football.

However, his fine performances throughout the season has not been enough to keep the club up and the four-year-deal he signed in the summer has very quickly turned into one of the worst decisions of his footballing career.

There is no question that the Brazilian still has enough in his locked to compete in the English topflight, but only if he has a steady backline in front of him.

    Top5 - Number 5: Stephane Mbia

    Games: 26

    Goals: 0

    Chances Created: 19

    Pass Accuracy: 82%

    Estimated Cost: £9m

The lanky defender has been a towering figure in QPR's backline this season, and also added some much needed bulk in the middle of the park when called upon. His brute strength allows him to surge through opponents with ease, his intelligence allows him to stay one step ahead of opposition forwards and his technical abilities sees him deployed as a deep lying playmaker.

Mbia was a part of the move which saw Joey Barton leave London for Marseille last summer, which Hoops fans will have seen as a massive result, and with just a year left on his two-year deal a move away from Loftus Road is very much on the cards.

    Top10 - Number 1: Gary Hooper (Celtic)

For a long time now Hooper has been linked with a move to the Premier League, predominantly with Norwich City, and this summer could eventually be the time with the demise of the Scottish Premier League.

His 19 goals for Celtic this season fired them to yet another league title but he is said to be desperate to try his hand in a stronger league while he is playing at his peak.

With just a year left on his Celtic contract, Hooper will be hot property when the season comes to a close and Cardiff would do well to get him to the Welsh capital. However, if the move were to happen then there is no doubt that he would be a success.
