    Top5 - Number 2: Jack Rodwell

    Games: 8

    Goals: 0

    Shot Accuracy: 60%

    Pass Accuracy: 89%

    Chances Created: 1

    Average Duel Success: 67%

Jack Rodwell was a hugely important player for Everton growing up and was also tipped to be the next best thing on the international stage also. However, since the young midfilder decided that a move to Manchester City would benefit his career, or more likely his bank account, he has completely fallen off the radar.

Injuries combined with poor performances and a quality gulf between him and his peers has meant that he has mustered just eight games this season, and making about as much impact on the City side as a Gareth Barry step over.

    Top5 - Number 3: Maicon

    Games: 7

    Goals: 0

    Shot Accuracy: 29%

    Pass Accuracy: 84%

    Chances Created: 5

    Average Duel Success: 57%

Manchester City have a wealth of full-backs in their squad, although Micah Richards has had a huge amount of injury problems, and Maicon has failed to establish himself in the Citizen's backline. However, injuries have also played their part in the Brazilian's fall from grace. With a recurring knee problem and a number of other little niggles, Maicon's chances of becoming first choice ahead of Pablo Zabaleta have been dashed.

With just a year left on his contract and his career coming to a slow death, it is widely expected that he will be leaving the club for a fresh challenge at the end of the season.

    Top5 - Number 4: Kolo Toure

    Games: 12

    Goals: 0

    Shot Accuracy: 0%

    Pass Accuracy: 88%

    Chances Created: 6

    Average Duel Success: 47%

Largely overlooked because of the abundance of talent his brother has and the controversy surrounding his ban for taking his wife's diet pills earlier in the season, Kolo Toure has become somewhat of a laughing stock.

His lumbering style of play has seen his name linked with an exit from the Etihad when the season closes, although that depends on whether Roberto Mancini keeps his job.

On his day Toure is a robust, combative centre-back who is near-perfect in his aerial battles and his positional sense, but he is not given enough of a chance to show what he is made of.

    Top5 - Number 5: Aleksandar Kolarov

    Shot Accuracy: 27%

    Pass Accuracy: 78%

    Chances Created: 10

    Average Duel Success: 54%

The Serbia international has become a popular figure with the crowd at the Etihad since his switch from Lazio in 2010, but Manchester City's limp season in the Premier League has caused him to have a mediocre individual campaign.

Having to go toe-to-toe with someone of Gael Clichy has also made sure that Kolarov's form remains weak and he is kept on the bench, and although he is seen as a major asset in the attacking positions, he has also been criticised for his lack of defensive skills.

The 27-year-old's Manchester City looks bleak.

    Top5 - Number 1: Yossi Benayoun

    Games: 5

    Goals: 0

    Shot Accuracy: 0

    Pass Accuracy: 79%

    Chances Created: 2

    Average Duel Success: 33%

The Israel international's career has fallen apart over the past year or so and he is struggling to get some much needed game time. Benayoun has represented some of the biggest clubs in the country, and despite still being on the books of Chelsea, it is seldom that he gets the chance to show us what he can do.

I would expect the 32-year-old to leave the Blues at the end of the season to seek a new challenge and hopefully be rewarded with a string of games, as when he was on form he was a pleasure to watch.

    Top 5 - Number 2: Demba Ba

    Games: 10

    Goals: 2

    Shot Accuracy: 60%

    Pass Accuracy: 75%

    Chances Created: 5

    Average Duel Success: 48%

This feels incredibly harsh to include Demba Ba in this list, but due to the fact he switched to Stamford Bridge in January he has not been given the time to amass a higher score than his teammates.

Ba's ability has been highlighted for the last few seasons now and with his 15 league goals this campaign he can expect to be heavily involved with the Blues for the entirety for next season.

Ba is an intelligent forward who has the capacity to score from anywhere on the field. His sheer strength and size makes his a nightmare for defenders and is seen now as, by the Chelsea fans at least, as their first choice forward.

    Top5 - Number 3: Oriol Romeu

    Goals: 0

    Shot Accuracy: 0%

    Pass Accuracy: 89%

    Chances Created: 1

    Average Duel Success: 63%

We haven't seen much of the former Barcelona man because of unfortunate injuries, and when he has had the chance to show us what he can do, well, he hasn't.

It is hard for any defensive midfielder to stand out from the crowd, mainly due to the fact their role is to carry out the nitty gritty chores, and Romeu has found it difficult since his move in 2011.

The Spaniard is blessed with natural ability and his passing abilities make him alluring to watch, but whether or not he will ever reach his potential is something I am sure the 21-year-old is sweating on.

    Pass Accuracy: 69%

    Chances Created: 32

    Average Duel Success: 44%

The demise of Fernando Torres is a topic that has been debated to death in this country over the last few years, so I will not go there. However, as Rafa Benitez continues to give him the nod in the starting line up his time is running out to impress.

Torres' big money move to the club in 2011 put instant pressure on him and fans have been frustrated ever since, but it is said to be the owner, Roman Abramovich, who is keeping the burden on the management to continue to play his investment.

    Pass Accuracy: 82%

    Chances Created: 17

    Average Duel Success: 48%

When long term Chelsea target Victor Moses finally made the move to the club last year, fans were eager to see why this boy was so sought after. The former Crystal Palace player is an athletic, powerful forward who has the speed and the technique to beat players with ease. Something the Chelsea fans have only seen glimpses of, however.

Still only 22 years of age, Moses has a long, exciting and probably successful career ahead of him, although whether that be at Chelsea is yet to be seen.

The debate on whether or  not the Portuguese should stay at Old Trafford in the summer has been going on for some time now. His tricks and flicks and shooting from distance is apparently not enough to eclipse his unpredictable form and the United fans want to see him gone.

An explosive player when he wants to be, Nani was living under Cristiano Ronaldo's shadow when he joined the club. However, when Ronaldo left for Madrid a few years back Nani got the chance to show us what he is really made of, and although he showed us glimpses he has still not done enough.
