    Top5 - Number 2: vs Villareal

Walcott doesn't just know how to score goals in the Premier League, oh no. This sumptious effort was scored in a Champions League quarter-final tie against Villareal back in 2009.

After a patient spell of passing round the defence, the ball was sent forward towards Cesc Fabregas in the Arsenal midfield. Little did the Villareal defence know, the Spaniard would cheekily let the ball run and reach the onrushing Theo Walcott, whose delicious chip would evade the goalkeeper's attempt at keeping it out.

Not bad for a 'winger', eh?

    Top5 - Number 3: vs Newcaslte

When Arsenal decimated Newcastle in front of their own fans at the end of last year, there was one man who stood out against the grain.

Walcott's brilliantly taken hat-trick was crowned with this cracking goal. First of all, Walcott appears to want to keep the ball in the corner and wait for the referee to blow for full time, but as he spots a gap in between the 2 Newcastle players he darts between them.

He then takes on a third before being hauled to the ground, but he would not allow the poor challenge to deny him his third of the game. He rose to his feet almost instantly and delicately dinked the ball past Tim Krul.

    Top5 - Number 4: vs Liverpool

There was a wealth of speculation surrounding Theo Walcott this summer, and one of the clubs he was linked with was the team he supported as a boy - Liverpool. It was no surprise, then, when he produced an energetic shift against the Reds when they travelled to the Emirates last month.

As he picked the ball up just inside the box, he struck the ball with enough power for it to flit past the hapless Pepe Reina and earn the Londoners a point.

    Top5 - Number 5: vs Chelsea

Every player remembers his first goal, and perhaps you do too.

The young forward started the attack with a sweeping pass, continued his run, and when Abou Diaby picked him out with a through ball Walcott took it in his stride and finished with the composure of a player with twice his experience. The joy in his face as he celebrates tells you everything you need to know.

Top5 - Number 1: Danny Welbeck (Manchester United)

Name: Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck

    Age: 22

Former Clubs: Preston (loan), Sunderland (loan), Manchester United

Stats: 19 goals in 94 appearances

Situation: Before the doubters start to turn their noses up, just think about what an impact Welbeck could have. He is a young, hungry striker whose energy makes him a real thron to any opposing defender to deal with. His pace, his strength and his ability in the air would be a welcome addition into the Spurs attack, and a loan deal could suit both parties as he is currently behind Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez in the Old Trafford pecking order.

Top5 - Number 2: Aritz Aduriz (Atheltic Bilbao)

    Name: Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia

    Age: 31

Former Clubs: Aurrera, Athletic Bilbao, Burgos, Valladolid, Mallorca, Valencia, Atheletic Bilbao

Stats: 111 goals in 313 appearances

Situation:  A veteran of the Spanish leagues now in Aduriz. Wherever the Spaniard has travelled in his career goals have followed and I firmly believe that this would continue should he come to England. Aduriz is the sort of player who strives to be the best he can be, and that is somewhat of a rare trait in certain sides we watch across Europe.

    Top5 - Number 3: Erick Torres (Guadalajara)

    Name: Erick Estefano Torres Padilla

    Age: 20

    Former Clubs: Guadalajara

Stats: 14 goals in 63 appearances

Situation: Don't worry Spurs fans, this Torres won't cost you £50m and would probably find the back of the net more than once a season. This little Mexican is apparently after a move to Europe to try and replicate the success of his national counterpart Javier Hernandez. The youngster is currently setting South America alight with his goals and might be worth a punt for a Premier League side.

Top5 - Number 4: Ruben Castro Martin (Betis)

    Name: Ruben Castro Martin

    Age: 31

Former Clubs: Las Palmas, Deportivo La Coruna, Albacete (loan), Racing Santander (loan), Gimnastic (loan), Huesca (loan), Rayo Vallecano (loan) Real Betis

Stats: 85 goals in 182 appearances

Situation: Castro has hit 12 in 20 this season in La Liga and is showing no signs of stopping. If AVB is looking for a cheap option to bolster his front line then Castro would be perfect, considering his age, his record and  the impact he seems to have on the sides he is playing for.

Top5 - Number 5: Luc Castaignos (FC Twente)

    Name: Luc Castaignos

    Age: 20

Former Clubs: Feyenoord, Inter, FC Twente

Stats: 24 goals in 63 appearances

Situation:  A big, strong striker who knows where the target is. FC Twente snapped up the young front man for an approximate €6m in July 2012 and has gone on to score 8 goals in 20 games for the club. If Andre Villas-Boas is looking for a hot prospect with bags of potential and a determination to succeed at the very top, then Mr Castaignos could be his man.

    Top5 - Number 1: Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Borussia Monchengladbach)

    Name: Marc-Andre ter Stegen

    Age: 20

    Former Clubs: Borussia Monchengladbach

    Stats: 77 appearances

Situation: One of the most exciting young goalkeepers on the planet. Stegen has the footballing world at his feet and is undoubtedly going to be one of the greatest as he learns his trade and gains the experience that is needed. The wealth of German goalkeepers over the years is bordering on embarrassing and Stegen is the latest shot-stopper emerging from the batch, he just needs someone to make Gladbach an offer they can't refuse.
