No bid lodged for Montenegrin striker

No bid has yet been made for a reported Manchester City target according to Sky Sports.

Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic has emerged as a target for City with Roberto Mancini thought to be a admirer of the player.

It is thought that a gentleman's agreement exists where Fiorentina would sell the player for £23.7million and the Viola are preparing themselves for an offer before the end of the transfer window.

However, the website reports that no deal has yet been put on the table for the striker from City or any club.
