Winger to complete Bremen switch

Chelsea look set to loan winger Kevin De Bruyne to Werder Bremen following his summer switch to Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old joined the Blues in January, but spent the second half of last season with Belgian outfit Racing Genk.

It now appears the Blues are keen to see the Belgium youngster continue his development in Germany, with a move to the Bundesliga outfit set to be completed later this month.

“I can confirm that. We are to work out a loan switch,” Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs told Kicker when asked on possible negotiations.
