Arsenal alerted to striker availability

Arsenal have been put on red alert after news emerged that Fernando Llorente had rejected the latest contract offer from Athletic Bilbao.

The Spain international is one of the most coveted striker’s in Europe after his most prolific season to date, netting 29 goals in all competitions.

The Gunners have earmarked the 27-year-old as the perfect replacement for captain Robin van Persie, who is expected to leave this summer after rejecting Arsenal’s latest contract offer.
