Lukaku to secure season long loan at Fulham

Fulham are set to welcome Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku for the upcoming season on a loan deal.

The Belgian, who signed from £18 million pounds, was touted as the next Didier Drogba but as the Ivory Coast veteran leaves, so has Lukaku, albeit for a season.

Fulham look set to lose Clint Dempsey this summer so Lukaku could see himself playing a pivotal role in Fulham's attack.

Lukaku scored two goals in Chelsea's pre season friendly with Seattle but a move to Craven Cottage is seen as the best thing for him by his employers.
