Liverpool ready £20million bid for Toon pair

Liverpool are preparing a bid for Newcastle pair Jose Enrique and Jonas Gutierrez.

It’s no secret that Liverpool have placed a left back at the top of their wish list this summer and Caught Offside reports that the Liverpool have already had a £4m bid turned down by Newcastle for Enrique and are se to return with an increased bid and plan to take Argentine winger Gutierrez as well.

Enrique has only a year left on his current contract so his value has significantly reduced whilst Gutierrez will be brought in for cover for Maxi who finished the season in fine from scoring 2 hat tricks in 3 games.
