    Q.P.R relegation could trigger fire-sale

The Mirror Football today reports that Queens Park Rangers' chairman Tony Fernandes is planning a complete overhaul of the team should the inevitable relegation happen.

The names that have so far been mentioned include high profile players such as Adel Taarabt, Julio Cesar and Loic Remy. However Fernandes has made it clear that the Premier League bargain basement will not include manager Harry Redknapp who has been told his job is safe, if of course he wishes to manage in the championship next season.

The biggest concern for the relegation-threatened club is their inflated wage budget that they cannot sustain whilst competing in the Championship.

Other names on the list include the likes of ex-Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero, on loan forward Djibril Cisse and currently suspended Bobby Zamora.

Worryingly for fans the list is longer than Santa's good list, with fellow team-mates Chris Samba and Jermain Jenas also ready to be shipped.

Certainly there will be a huge queue outside Loftus Road this summer as the Premier League side-turned-player supermarket have so much quality to offer any side in the division, or beyond. Arsene Wenger, Roberto Mancini and even Sir Alex Ferguson could perhaps be seen strolling through West London with their trolleys with their eyes firmly fixated on a bargain.
