£8Million Remy clause draws Premier League interest

Looking at the case of Loic Remy in closer detail it seems the talented striker is almost certainly on his way out of Loftus Road with Tottenham and Arsenal both poised to lock horns in the upcoming transfer window, according to The Guardian.

The loss of Q.P.R.'s arguably finest striker will come as a huge blow despite being totally expected after their fate was all but sealed following a last gasp Shaun Maloney strike to share the spoils for Wigan against the hoops on the weekend.

Arguably Harry Redknapp's toughest task still lies ahead as he looks to assemble a squad capable of competing for promotion in the Championship whilst watching his best players jump the sinking ship of QPR that has remained anchored in the Premier League drop zone for quite some time.

If Redknapp is to guide his side away from choppy waters and into the promised land of the Premier League once more it looks certain he will have to do so without his January window buy who has netted 5 times already this season becoming one of QPR's leading goalscorers.

Hopefully Tony Fernandes' and Redknapp's emergency lifeboats will both be made of stern stuff as a deflating Premier League relegation this season can prove to be a mortal blow to any club looking for sustained existence in England's top division.
