Remy's QPR stay to be shortlived

It might be that Loic Remy will get a QPR escape route easier than he might have thought if the R's are relegated, with The Mirror reporting that Arsenal are ready to pounce.

The Gunners were believed be interested prior to his move to Loftus Road however were not convinced by his injury record, however it seems Rangers have allayed many of their fears surrounding the player and they are now ready to trigger a relegation release clause. It might have been a risky tactic to not take a gamble and stand by as the player joined their London rivals, however it could now prove to be a master stroke.

Remy who famously had his head turned by QPR by the temptations of basement football when he was on the verge of signing for Newcastle, has scored three goals since his arrival from France and it seems that Arsene Wenger has seen enough evidence to suggest that the player could cut it.

Signing players from relegated sides often doesn't work, however you can't exactly put much blame at Remy's door for QPR's inpending relegation and lets not forget he is not exactly your typical relegated footballer given the vast interest in him not so long ago.
