Chelsea striker not finished just yet

Fernando Torres has been accused and criticised for this that and everything since his remarkable decline, however one thing you can't question is his determination to find his way back. It would appear that he has by no means given up on making a success of his Chelsea career, with ESPN reporting that the player is not looking for a return to Spain and Atletico Madrid, but instead he is keen to make it work at Chelsea.

For all the fun and games we might have poking fun at Torres and his fall from one of the worlds best to a lost sheep, you can't help but feel sorry for him and hope that one day things might just half click back into place. At first his struggles were amusing but now it is as painful as watching the runners attempt to get round the Grand National course safely.

Many predicted the Spaniards exit was inventible this summer, however it seems he has other ideas and is determined to prove himself, although after the failure of Rafa Benitez it is difficult to see what it is going to take to turn his ailing fortunes around. A move to Atletico might have been the most logical step of retracing hs steps back to greatness however for now at least he is determined to prove his Chelsea worth.
