Swansea star rubbishes rumours of an exit

It seems that as much as the media might want to they are going to get nothing out of tight lipped Ashley Williams, with Sky Sports News reporting that the Swansea skipper has again stated that his commitment is only to Swansea.

Reports have been almost constant throughout this campaign with regards to Williams moving, with Liverpool and Arsenal the clubs most commonly mentioned as possible destinations. Yet despite being one of the most popular names on the gossip columns Williams has consistently rebuffed any story, showing he is incredibly committed to his current club or he posses a quite remarkable poker face.

This ability to not give a crumb to the press with no doubt infuriate journalists, however you have to admire Williams for his resolve. Further to that it might it genuinely might be that he wants to stay at the Liberty despite this interest and who can blame him given the incredible journey he has been on with the South Wales club, further to that given their consistent and remarkable rise who knows where that journey could end.

Finally you have to credit Williams for his loyalty and the fact that unlike so many others his head has been anything but turned and throughout he has been a model pro.

From what I saw of Williams yesterday, give me Koshelny any day of the week. It also appear as though he lacks ideas and his strength is iffy. If we gonna get a CB then he needs to be an alrounder with anger equal to Tony Adams and love for the club which frankly impossible. As of budget for shopping next season, £60m is rubbish when the team has been busy being looted every year for a tune of +£200m since 2005. Compound that and you will see loads of money made from club. Where is Usmanov when you want to invest. This Kroenke geyser is pants.
