Manchester United midfielder is a wanted man in Italy

It has never quite happened for Nani at Manchester United and it might be that his future lies elsewhere. And The Metro indicate that Juventus are set to test United's resolve to keep their fringe winger.

The last few years have been of particular disappointment to Nani, particularly given that prior to that he looked to have finally cemented his first team place. However competition from the likes of Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa and Ashley Young coupled with some more than inconsistent performance have seen him reduced to little more than a bit part player, with his most memorable contribution this season proving to be that much debated red card against Real Madrid.

With that in mind, Juventus look set to test the water with a report £20 million bid and you would think given Nani's current role within the squad a sum of that kind of money would be more enough to force through a sale. When he signed for United as a youngster great things were predicted with the obvious comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo being made, however one reason or another Nani has simply not lived to that initial hype and it might just be he needs a fresh start to finally utilise that obvious talent.
