Manchester City winger lays down futile demands

Poor old Scott Sinclair he thought he had made his dream move to the then Premier League champions Manchester City, yet things very quickly turned sour. Now The Mirror are reporting that the wide man has rather riskily been laying down ultimatums that it is either him or Roberto Mancini who will be leaving the Etihad this summer.

This is not exactly smart behaviour from Sinclair given the board are unlikely to worry to much about a player who is at best on the fringes and given that when everyone is fit he is likely to be fighting for a first team place with David Silva, a battle which you can't exactly see him winning and further to that even when Silva has been injured he has not forced his way into first team action.

So with that in mind and even if a new manager does comes in it is unlikely that Sinclair will be pulling up any trees anytime soon, meaning that if he is true to his word he will find himself packing his bags sooner rather than later. As well as this such outbursts are hardly like to enhance his already dwindling first team chances, confirming this as one of the most sorry tales in recent times and reminding players that those giant pound signs are not the key to happiness.
