Spurs star set to leave

Tottenham ace, Tom Huddlestone has spoken of his frustration at not being able to hold down a first team spot at White Hart Lane.
The giant midfielder is back to full fitness but after being a regular under Redknapp he has found himself on the sidelines since Andre Villas Boas arrival.
The player told The Mirror “I am 26. I missed a year to 18 months through injury. You just want to play every game, and if that opportunity is not at Tottenham then I will have to look elsewhere.
“It’s been a frustrating few months. The manager has reassured me that I am in his plans even though time wise on the pitch it hasn’t always been shown that way.”
Huddlestone, who has vowed not to cut his hair until he scores again, in what now appears one of the most ill conceived hair related decisions since Gervinho swapped fringe for centre parting, almost left the club during both previous windows.
Last summer a move to Stoke City broke down at the medical stage and in January, Fulham were reported to have bid £5million for him but no deal went through.
The player demonstrated his worth to Spurs with a sparkling cameo that changed the must win game against Man City on Sunday. He will be hoping that he has done enough to earn a starting place as the club continue their localised battle for Champions League qualification.
