Agents looks to manufacture midfielder a move to City

You know we are getting near the summer months when we are regularly hearing stories of agents talking up their players in a bid to manufacture a move, for example the agent of Hernanes who the Metro are reporting is trying to talk up a move to Manchester City.

Who knows whether this method does any good or not, you would think that football managers and owners would be able to form their own opinions on players but then we know that football is a more than fickle game. What is further humorous is that the agent in question here has stated that he didn't want to talk about the rumours linking Hernanes to City, obviously in making such a statement sneakily adding further fuel to the rumours.

To be fair Hernanes is an undoubted talent and given the lack of creativity the likes of Samir Nasri and co has provided this season a move for the Brazilian international could well be beneficial for City. Given the seemingly inevitable summer clear out at the Ethiad there is going to be countless rumours of players coming in, so for now it is probably best not to read to much into this story.
