    Carroll return to Geordie's shore?

Andy Carroll, the Geordie giant has been linked with a return to his home town club Newcastle United however the club are only willing to buy for £25 million less than it cost for Liverpool to prize the forward away, according to The Daily Mirror.

It has transpired in recent days that loanee-club West Ham will probably not be able to afford to maintain the services of Carroll on a permanent basis it seems the Magpies are ready to swoop down despite not wanting to part with too many of their shiny coins.

So how about Liverpool in all of this? Despite the fact Brendan Rodgers desperately needs more attacking options he seems to think that Carroll has no future at Anfield and perhaps will be pleased to see a lucky Magpie swoop down into town.

Carroll faces Manchester United tonight in what should be a feisty and heated game and Carroll will be looking to use his muscle tonight and into the summer by trying to force a move somewhere he can secure regular first-team football. And tonight he will be hoping to bag a few and continue his fine form in recent weeks and will be hoping that this will be enough to turn the heads of a big successful Premier League side, with his Championship winner's medal proving he's too good to drop down to that level.
