Au Revoir Rooney?

Strong signals coming from the PSG camp in recent days as they remain convinced they have landed their priority target Wayne Rooney and are also ready to offer £40million to secure the services of professional Michael Jackson look-alike Nani.

The Sun (always the reliable font of all transfer knowledge) reports that French journalists are already confirming the deal as “done”. Whilst the reports surrounding Rooney may be a little far-fetched and the dreamings of fantasy-football turned reality, the future of Manchester United team-mate Nani remains much more up in the air.

Nani, who also sometimes appears as JLS's Aston Merrygold, is convinced this season will be his last one in United colours which will trigger groans of indifference across United's global fanbase. It is fair to say that Nani has struggled for consistency and his feet simply remain too small a shoe size to fit the red hot one's left by prolific goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has added his two cents to the rumours by stating PSG are the best project in world football, and that means PSG are the only club Rooney can sign for if indeed he wishes to leave the Red Devils.

Just another case of Ibrahimovic's nose shoving itself into a space it has no right to occupy...
