Another goalkeeper under the spotlight following Arsenal interesting

Stoke's Asmir Begovic is the latest to be linked to the apparent vacancy between the sticks for Arsenal as their search continues for a first choice goalkeeper.

And the Daily Mail report that they have already made tentative steps towards signing the impressive Potter but have been quoted a £15million offer is needed.

The move will only add fuel to the fire surrounding the futures of current squad members Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny (not the most gossip-friendly pair of names). Szczesny has become infamous for his ability to wind up the opposition pre-match but now it seems that Arsene Wenger is planning to offload and will no doubt one day become the target of a Szczesny wind-up ploy.

The Daily Mail also report Wenger will have an impressive £70million war chest to claw their way closer up the table towards Manchester's City and United however Wenger's ability to part with the cash may seem him hoard it all up in a sensible savings account instead.

And £15million pound especially may be too much for Wenger to let go of. Never mind, there are always the other 'cheaper' options that have been quoted as being on Mr. Wenger's transfer radar: Petr Cech, Pepe Reina and Victor Valdes. Oh.
