Fulham keen to snap up Frimpong

The career of Emmanuel Frimpong has seen something of a dramatic decline over recent seasons, which, at the age of 21, is something of a concern.
He has gone from being one of Arsenal’s brightest young prospects to an Arsene Wenger reject with his contract set to expire in the summer via a few disappointing loan spells and long term injuries.
The tough tackling midfielder has been with the Gunners since the age of nine but with the club struggling to deliver on the pitch it seems as though Wenger no longer has room for sentimentality and has identified Frimpong as lacking in quality. Or perhaps it is simpler than this and Wenger just isn’t a fan of Frimpong’s musical collaborator and cousin Lethal Bizzle. He’s sick of hearing of their ‘Dench’ exploits (seriously, look it up) and wants out. I’ve always thought the Frenchman was more of an N-Dubz man.
The Ghana midfielder is currently on loan at Fulham and according to The Daily Mirror it is Martin Jol’s side who are in pole position to land Frimpong on a permanent deal. He has made just two appearances for the Cottagers since the switch but if he impresses during the rest of the season then it seems as though Jol would make a move.
“If there is an opportunity to take him, I would probably do it.” Said the Fulham boss.
