    Liverpool still keen on winger

It seems that Liverpool have still very much got their hearts set on Tom Ince, with The Sun reporting that the club will renew their interest in the player once summer arrives. Brendan Rodgers and co were believed to have tracked the youngster on numerous occasions in January, however a deal could not be agreed with his club Blackpool.

Ince will be planning his workout programs this summer with the former Kop trainee expected to make a move back to Anfield this summer.

The Reds will be hoping that the summer sun (if it ever arrives) can bring a thaw in Blackpool's resolve, whilst they might also be hoping that current Tangerines boss Paul Ince might be able to do his old club a favour and talk his son into a move. Although you do have to question how successful that theory is going to prove given that Ince senior is hardly going to keen on losing his best player, whilst if Ince junior is going to be influenced by anyone it is going to be Ince Senior and with that in mind he could easily be tempted to stay.

This a story with a host of sub plots and if Liverpool were thinking they could waltz in and take Ince to Anfield then they are likely to be mistaken and they will need to substantially up their offer from what was previous but on the table in January.
