      Hernandez going nowhere Fergie insists

After speculation linking him with a move to any one of several European destinations, Sir Alex Ferguson has spoken out over the future of Mexican forward Javier Hernandez, according to The Telegraph.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in the 24 year old forward. However, despite United's much publicised pursuit of Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski, Fergie has moved to stress that the diminutive striker will be going nowhere.

Hernandez is allegedly frustrated at often finding himself behind Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck for United, particularly given his impressive return of 16 goals in 28 appearances this term.

In light of reported frustration Ferguson praised the patience and professionalism of Hernandez, quashing any talk of a move away from M16:

“I’ve said to him it’s not easy to keep leaving him out because a 16-goal tally in the number of games he’s started is a brilliant record,” Ferguson said.

“He’s fantastic in the box. But it’s difficult when you’re up against a player of Robin van Persie’s form, then you’ve got Welbeck, Rooney, Kagawa – that’s the benefit of having a strong squad. It’s given us an advantage. We are working with 26 first-team players – probably the biggest in the league.”
